One-year contract initially until 31st December 2018
Band F £23,650 p.a. prorata, 24 hours per week
One covering Highlands, Perth & Kinross, Angus, Dundee City and Fife
One covering East Dunbartonshire, Forth Valley, West Lothian, Mid & East Lothian and Edinburgh
We are looking for two self-motivated individuals to take on the challenges of further developing SMART Recovery meetings in the areas mentioned and provide ongoing support to meeting facilitators.
You need to be an experienced SMART Meeting Facilitator who can demonstrate best practice within a SMART meeting, someone passionate about the SMART Recovery Programme, have excellent organisational skills and are able to manage your own time. Experience in delivering face to face training and working with volunteers would also be desirable.
The role will involve visiting SMART meetings to offer guidance and support, developing networks for SMART meeting facilitators, providing support to participants who want to go on to become meeting facilitators, developing new peer led meetings in the community and delivering SMART training courses.
Working alongside the SMART team, ADP’s and other partners, you will also be raising awareness of the programme and developing networks with service providers.
Although you will be home-based it is expected that a large amount of your time will be spent at SMART meetings in the areas mentioned above. Agreed expenses, including mileage will be reimbursed, laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
