Consultation - the future of SMART Recovery UK
Consultation Results Published
The main report to come out of the consultation is a 'Strategic Review' (July 1st 2010) that explores the key issues facing SMART Recovery and sets out a proposed direction of travel.
All the recommendations in the report have been accepted by the Trustees, fully supported by Facilitators on a telephone conference and also agreed by the US Charity that oversees SMART Recovery Internationally.
Read the Strategic Review of SMART Recovery UK. (and a none pdf version).
We are also publishing the data and feedback collected during the consultation period, along with the initial commentary and analysis that led up to the final review document. This is a substantial 67 pages, but still a fascinating read. Download the Raw data and initial commentary report as a pdf, or a MS Word version.
If you would like to keep in touch with how the recommendations are being turned into practice join our mailing list.
The consultation ran from April 25th until June 11th 2010 and is now closed. The consultation document was downloaded over 700 times, the video viewed over 120 times and 70 people filled out the on-line questionnaire. We also ran 4 consultation seminars which were attended by over 60 people.
This was a remarkable response and lots of good and challenging suggestions have been put forwards.
The original consultation proposal document is available here. Though please remember that this includes proposals that did not make it through to the final recommendations.
